My little one loves Lacrosse, but she had a hard time catching the ball. After a little research I decided to make the pocket bigger. This should make it easier to catch and carry the ball. For 8U and under there is no maximum depth on the pocket. This wasn’t as easy to do. Here are my tips for making a bigger pocket.

  • Its a two step process
    • First 24 hours: initial break
    • Next 48 hours: make the pocket bigger
  • Use 2 screwdrivers at first to hold the ball in place
  • Keep the pressure up for 72 hours. It takes a while to break in these nets.
